Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer with expertise in Windows services to join our talented team at Conduent. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable .NET applications, focusing on the design and optimization of Windows services. You will leverage your experience with .NET technologies to build solutions that drive business value, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Windows services and APIs using .NET and C#.
- Build, maintain, and optimize web services and Windows applications to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and other developers, to define, design, and ship high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and integrate them with application logic.
- Implement WCF and WPF solutions to improve user experiences and increase efficiency.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring that the solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Contribute to system design discussions and help identify potential bottlenecks or improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in .NET development.
- Ensure that all solutions follow security best practices and maintain high levels of data integrity and privacy.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and promote continuous improvement.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and solutions for future reference.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.
- Expertise in C#, SQL Server, Web API, and Windows services.
- Strong experience with WCF and WPF.
- Good understanding of software design patterns and principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize code effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, Angular, ReactJS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
