Strong fundamentals in Industrial Robotics (IR Components, Closed Loop system, Coordinate systems, Tool configuration etc)
Complete Understanding of Automotive Bodyshop Controls including Welding, Material Handling, and other BIW processes.
Understanding on Robot Controls and Linking all Equipment with Robots for Complete Line Functions
Worked with System Integrators or involved with Installation and Commissioning of Robotic lines for Automobile industry
Debugging Robot Hardware & Software applications on Site.
Control System Architecture knowledge (Protocols used on Robots)
Design And Selection Of Industrial Robotics Control System (Manipulator, Controller, Dresspack, Master & Slave network devices)
Design Basis And Specification
Factory Acceptance Test Procedure And Site Acceptance
Test Procedure
Intrinsic Safety Calculation
Input / Output List, Signal Exchange List / Communication List, Safety Zone listing
Good knowledge on Robot installation, startup configuration, Installation & Commissioning onsite
Able to work with most makes of Industrial Robots like ABB,FANUC, KUKA & Yaskawa
Handson Experience in Handshaking with Master and Slave networks
Should be able to work on multiple end user Robot Standards
Should be able to interpret Electrical drawings.
Onsite Experience in Debugging and Comissioning of Robotics Control Systems
Working knowledge on Robotic Process Simulation is preferred
Working knowledge on Virtual Commissioning is preferred
Fair knowledge on Siemens & Allen Bradley PLC
Other have skills:
Willigness to travel onsite(Abroad & Local) on short notice and for multiple durations is mandatory
knowledge on latest Robotic technologies like I4.0 connectivity shall be an advantage
Knowledge of BIW operations like Welding, Sealing, Cutting, Handling and Vision Systems would be a great advantage
Hand on experience on Robot-PLC / Robot-CNC handshaking, Master/Slave network configuration
Paint shop or Power Train shop additional experience shall be beneficial
Working knowledge on Pneumatics ( Vaccuum, Solenoids, Vision Systems etc) is highly preferable
Functional knowledge on Ethernet, EtherCAT,Devicenet, Profinet is desired
Should be able to provide solution in areas like reduction of MTTR & Cycle Time, enhancement of MTBF
Working knowledge on creation of Robotic Safety Zones and Collision free paths
Should have working knowledge on Power & Control Cabling, Powerup, Axis Calibration, Master & Slave network configuration,Tool Calibration, Teaching
COMAU Robot knowledge shall be added advantage
Knowledge to connect with multiple PLC's and slave devices is preferred
Valid Certification on Automotive standards like VAAS etc shall be highly advantageous
Working knowledge on Cobots shall be added advantage
Exposure to Paint Shop / Assembly / Power Train and other Manufacturing areas is added advantage
offline Process Simulation hands on experience is preferred
