Project Manager HC Management
Location: India - HYD
Available till: 3:00 Am
About the Role
This dual-focused Project Manager role will dedicate 50% of their time to managing headcount processes, ensuring data integrity and efficient resource allocation. The remaining 50% will be dedicated to supporting various operational projects, including process transitions, new program creation, keyword management, feature request tracking, and data gathering for quarterly reviews.
Responsibilities:
I. Headcount Management (50% of time):
- Oversee and manage the sales organization's HC management tool, ensuring data accuracy and hygiene
- Reconcile discrepancies and maintain data integrity within the HC tool
- Maintain and utilize a Google Sheets version of target HC as the source of truth for proper cost center allocation while the HC tool is being updated. Guide the HC tool updates based on this source of truth
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to validate and adjust cost center allocations as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HC process-related inquiries (e.g., bungees, HC transfers out of Projects)
- Manage and coordinate HC-related processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Project manage HC hygiene initiatives by:
- Communicating hygiene goals and instructions to HC managers via email
- Providing regular progress updates and reminders to stakeholders
- Scheduling ad-hoc meetings with HC managers as needed, especially for new initiatives requiring detailed explanation and discussion
- Conduct regular meetings (approximately every two weeks) with the central strategy & operations team to review progress on HC tool updates, discuss roadblocks, and outline next steps
- Collaborate effectively with HC managers, HR, Finance, and other relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of HC processes, including tracking sheets, process documentation, and meeting minutes, utilizing Google Docs and Sheets
II. Additional Project Management Responsibilities (50% of time, Reporting to Operations/Relevant Manager):
- Develop and maintain quarterly project timelines to ensure key delivery dates are met
- Track project progress with key stakeholders, following up on overdue milestones
- Identify, flag, and escalate risks associated with timeline adherence
- Monitor task completion for individuals responsible for creating new programs
- Communicate with and follow up with individuals who are behind schedule to ensure timely completion
- Review incoming keyword requests and determine their suitability for addition
- Share final recommendations with the Program Manager for review and approval
- Compile quarterly summaries of sales feature requests
- Gather and consolidate data for quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Project management or Project Coordinator
- Graduate (BE/B.Tech/MCA/MBA) or above as may be applicable in the Geo
- Experience with headcount management tools or workforce management domain
- Knowledge of headcount planning and budgeting processes
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in HC management tools
