Job Description

Proficient in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.

Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.

Ability to create and work with conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Understanding schema design principles, including constraints, indexing, and relationships

Experience with Ansible for automating database operations.

Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.

Skills

Must have

10+ years as an Oracle and PostgreSQL DBA.

Hands-on experience with database patching, backup, migrations, and disaster recovery implementations.

Data modelling, SQL proficiency, and strong knowledge of database design principles.

> Should be flexible to support a 24x7 model

At least 1+ year of experience in developing Ansible playbooks for database automation.

Nice to have

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
