Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
Project Execution (Pre-Commissioning Phase):
1. Participate in the detailed planning and execution of mechanical engineering tasks for the project.
2. Review engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
3. Supervise mechanical installation activities, including equipment, piping, and structural components, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, and instrumentation engineers) to ensure smooth project progress.
5. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
6. Address technical issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Operations & Maintenance (Post-Commissioning Phase):
1. Transition seamlessly into the O&M team to manage the mechanical aspects of the facility.
2. Diligently perform the duties & responsibilities assigned as part of the O&M team
3. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E / B.Tech Mechanical Engineer having 8-12 years of hands-on experience in & above 300MW above coal-based thermal power plants in commissioning & post-commissioning activities.
