Network Security Engineer - Proxy, Firewall, IPS, IDS & F5. Must have 9-10 Years of hands-on experience in Palo Alto Firewalls and Zscaler proxy/ASA. Must have knowledge in configuration of IPSec/Remote VPN and troubleshooting experience. Design and manage firewall policies, rules, and access controls to protect the network perimeter. Deploy and manage IPS solutions to detect and prevent network intrusions and malicious activities. Configure IPS policies to identify and block security threats in real-time. Implement and maintain IDS solutions to monitor network traffic and detect potential security incidents. Analyze IDS alerts and respond to security events appropriately. Handson experience on switching and internet routing technologies. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices. Perform regular vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security weaknesses. Remediate identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents. Set up network monitoring tools to track network performance and security events. Prepare design document like LLD/HLD and should participate in migration activities. Identify and resolve chronic issues. RCA/ Clients meeting / Regular Operational updates/ CAB meetings. Participate in Technical Audits. Optimize network configurations for performance and security. Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, policies, and incident reports. Generate regular reports on network security status and incident trends. Should handle and resolve P1/P2 issue within SLA Mentor L1 team members Willing to work in 24X7 support model. Excellent communication skill (English - both written and verbal) Areas of Responsibilities: Business / Customer Understand and articulate complex problems related to the Networks Work with the client team to address escalations. Implement change requests and engineering tasks. Well versed with ITIL concepts like Incident, Problem & change management & service requests. Lead the technical discussions in customer governance calls. Interact with the user / customer / first level management.
