Hiring Senior SQL Developer - Andheri, Mumbai - WFO/Hybrid (Night shift - 7:30 pm to 4:30 am, Rotational Weekend working)

Job Description: SQL Support Consultant with Development Capabilities

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Develop and maintain database objects to support application functionalities.
• Design, schedule, and support SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and jobs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize SSIS packages for efficient data ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand reporting requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and optimization.
• Provide timely support to resolve database-related issues, collaborating with development teams when required.
• Implement proactive monitoring of database server activities, jobs, and performance.
• Anticipate and address potential issues to ensure system reliability.
• Monitor database performance and initiate optimization strategies as needed.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing system efficiency and propose optimization measures.
• Document SQL code, database designs, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of proven experience in SQL Server development, including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Hands-on experience in designing, scheduling, and supporting SSIS packages and jobs.
• Proficiency in developing and supporting SSRS reports.
• Solid understanding of database maintenance tasks and optimization techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving database-related issues.
• Proactive monitoring expertise with a focus on anticipating and addressing potential issues.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with end-users and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in Client Communication and client management role.
