Title: Deputy Manager - Purchase Role Overview: Purchase Manager specializes in ensuring cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as required by the procurement plan of the organization, whilst ensuring quality control and compliance with the organization's policies and procedures. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Managing daily purchase activities & supplier relations. Preparing empanelled vendor database / suppliers master. Vendor documents validation & ensure related statutory compliance. Ensuring the release of PR/PO within TAT as per DOA Maintaining Budget Vs Actuals for each PR and Invoices etc., Vendor negotiation for better quality & price etc., Providing expenses accrual / provisions on time for books closure. Purchase MIS & Process automation initiative. Improve purchase function related internal control. Skills: Excellent Negotiation Skill ,Well versed in MS Excel Good presentation and communication skills Analytical skills to present insights to management with regard to purchase function Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and task orientation Ability to run the automation agenda Well versed with dealing with accounting packages such as Oracle / SAP Commerce Graduate with 10 years of experience & minimum 5 years of work experience in purchase function Location : Chennai Company Profile : Matrimony.com Ltd is India's first pure play Wed-Tech Company to get listed on BSE and NSE.
