Compliance Manager & Industrial Relations (IR) Manager
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Management:
Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance policies.
Develop and implement compliance programs, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure smooth legal compliance.
Monitor regulatory changes and update company policies accordingly.
Manage regulatory filings, licensing, and statutory reporting.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and legal teams for compliance-related matters.
Train employees on compliance policies and ethical business practices.
Industrial Relations (IR) Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, labor unions, and regulatory bodies.
Address employee grievances and ensure fair workplace policies.
Oversee labor law compliance, including factory acts, ESIC, EPF, and contract labor laws.
Manage disciplinary actions and workplace conflict resolutions.
Ensure smooth negotiations with labor unions and handle dispute resolutions.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement labor law compliance measures.
Ensure employee welfare, workplace safety, and HR policy compliance.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Law, HR, or a related field.
Experience: 5-15 years of experience in compliance, legal, and industrial relations.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and legal frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in manufacturing, BPO, or corporate environments.
