Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building Custom Apps: Power Apps Developers design apps using templates or from scratch to meet business needs. These apps can be used on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.

2. Integrating Data Sources: They connect Power Apps to various data sources like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party services to fetch and store data in the app.

3. Automation & Workflow: Power Apps developers often use Power Automate to automate workflows and processes, triggering specific actions based on events in the app.

4. Security & Permissions: Ensuring proper user authentication and authorization for apps, often by leveraging Azure Active Directory and security roles.

5. User Interface Design: Creating an intuitive and easy-to-use interface for users.

6. Debugging & Maintenance: Developers also test, debug, and maintain apps once they're deployed to ensure they're working smoothly.

Skills Needed:

• Power Apps: Experience with the app-building platform, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages.
• Power Automate: For automating business processes and workflows.
• Data Integration: Connecting to data sources and APIs.
• Basic Programming Knowledge: Understanding of Power Fx (the formula language in Power Apps) and JavaScript.
• Understanding of Microsoft Services: Such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dataverse.
