Job Description

    Job Overview:

    The Junior Recruiter will assist in the recruitment and hiring process by sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, and supporting the overall hiring strategy. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about human resources and talent acquisition, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the recruitment field. The Junior Recruiter will work closely with the recruitment team to help build a pipeline of qualified candidates for various job openings.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Candidate Sourcing:

      • Utilize job boards, social media, professional networks, and other platforms to source candidates for open positions.
      • Assist in posting job advertisements on various recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Naukri, and other regional or industry-specific job boards.
      • Monitor the performance of job postings across portals, ensuring accurate job descriptions and regular updates.
      • Conduct proactive research to identify potential candidates and build a talent pipeline.
    • Initial Screening & Interviews:

      • Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
      • Conduct preliminary phone or video screenings to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and interest.
      • Schedule and coordinate interviews with senior recruiters or hiring managers.
    • Collaboration & Candidate Engagement:

      • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to keep them informed and engaged.
      • Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates, ensuring a great candidate experience.
      • Assist with responding to candidate inquiries regarding job descriptions, the interview process, and company culture.
    • Database & Reporting:

      • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate profiles and interview feedback.
      • Prepare and maintain recruitment reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate pipeline progress.
      • Keep records of all sourcing activities and recruitment efforts.
    • Recruitment Support:

      • Assist in preparing offer letters and employment contracts for selected candidates.
      • Help with the coordination of background checks and reference checks.
      • Support in organizing and participating in recruitment events, job fairs, and other recruitment marketing activities.
    • Process Improvement:

      • Assist in refining and improving recruitment processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Stay updated with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and tools to enhance sourcing and hiring strategies.
