Job Description
- Designing Architecture: Lead the design of Java-based application architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and high availability.
- System Integration: Define and oversee the integration of various systems, services, and components using Java technologies.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, development practices, and tools to ensure high-quality software.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software developers and development teams.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for the architecture and development of solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure systems are optimized for speed, scalability, and security by analyzing and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure the timely delivery of software solutions.
- Documentation: Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and deployment procedures for team and future reference.
- Risk Management: Identify technical risks and mitigate them with suitable strategies to prevent issues during development or after deployment.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in Java development with [X] years in an architect role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RESTful services, and related technologies.
- Architecture Design: Proven experience in designing scalable, modular, and maintainable software architecture.
- Microservices & Cloud: Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (Git).
- Software Development Life Cycle: Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to address complex technical problems.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience with Java EE, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with enterprise application integration (EAI) or messaging systems.
- Certification in Java or cloud technologies is a plus.
