About the role: Name of the position: Simulation engineer 2W Durability Educational Qualification: B.E Mech/ B.E Auto Position Description: 1. Independently handle simulation of 3-Wheeler Chassis / Chassis systems / Body works durability simulations 2. Interact with design leads to understand the project scope, resource allocation, work prioritization and on-time project delivery 3. Durability simulation roadmap preparation and simulation capability building ownership. Roles & Responsibilities: Good engineering fundamentals - Strength of materials, Applied mechanics, Finite element methods, Weld strength and fatigue Proficient in Linear and Non-linear static analysis, Modal, Harmonic and PSD response simulation of components and assemblies Perform duty cycle based fatigue simulation on chassis and BIW structure Design optimization and propose design changes based on FEA analysis, manufacturing and packaging constrains Establishing Correlation between Test Results and Simulation Ensuring 100% Quality & On-Time Delivery Optimization based for weight and cost reduction Develop methods to capture new failure modes and improve predictions for existing failure modes Hands on experience with HyperMesh, HyperView, Nastran / Optistruct, FEMFAT / Hyperlife / n-code Functional Competencies: Product knowledge Product engineering & development Automotive Fundamentals Behavioural Competencies: Basic Communication Skills Working with Team collaboratively Interpersonal Effectiveness & Personal Leadership Rigor in job / work completion Customer centricity / focus Time Management Leadership Competencies Leading Innovation & Diverse Teams Adaptability Strategic Thinking Why TVSM one of the most emotive motorcycle brands in the world.
