Job Description

Pre-Bid Design:

1. Study of tender documents and to prepare technical query.
2. Preparation/ Review of Bill of quantity of structure & civil works for tender estimates.

Detail Engineering:

1. Preparation/ Review of Civil & structure design/detailing related to Buildings/ Quarters/ OHE Depot/ Tower Wagon Shed.
2. Prepare/ review the design calculation of steel support structures/gantry and foundation for the Switching station equipment.
3. Prepare/ review design of station building/staff quarters etc. and RCC detailing of buildings.
4. Develop/ review design and details of RCC Box culvert, cable trenches, retaining wall/ boundary wall, surface drainage.
5. Review the detail structural and fabrication drawing prepared by the fabricator (If required).
6. Reply the comments received from client.
7. Technical support to site at the time of project execution and commissioning.
8. Collection of the site data by site visit as in when required.

People management, Planning, Design, Review, and Monitoring:

1. Lead the team of design engineers/ draughtsman
2. Plan Engineering deliverables/ prepare Master Drawing List (MDL), monitor Engineering progress of projects and take proactive actions to complete designs on or before of Schedule.
3. Carry out design review of the important critical elements
4. Provide Value Engineering and Optimization ideas and conduct workshops for implementation
5. Bring in best practices in Design and Engineering aspects
