Web Security team designs/ develops innovative solutions to help customers protect their websites and secure online transactions. Powering over 85% of top online retailers everyday, we use cutting-edge technology to prevent data-theft and downtime. We work collaboratively with other teams and mitigate potentially devastating account takeover attempts.
Shape the future of security products
The ideal candidate for this position is creative and passionate about maintaining our suite of Security Products. The individual will be involved in conceptualizing, documenting, presenting and implementing every step of the development process.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing roadmap which includes multiple parallel projects
- Leading projects from research stage via design, development, and testing till enablement of new functionality in production
- Collaborating with architects and engineering teams to understand their needs and build solutions to address their requirements
- Writing reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable code
- Partnering with development/QA teams to come up with regression tests that cover new changes to our software
- Collaborating with our operations teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex problem escalations for our customers
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Have experience architecting and building systems in a cloud environment
- Possess excellent front-end development skills and hands-on experience with service-oriented architecture, JavaScript, Angular etc.
- Be able to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information, clearly and concisely to all stakeholders
