Job Description

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:- DCH/DGO/DNB/MS/MD

EXPERIENCE:- 0-4 years exp in hospital industry

Job Description:

Performs duties as per duty roaster and hands over the patients to the next doctor on call on the completion of his duty
Attends to all ER/OT calls
Help the Consultants in the OPD areas.
Completing admission formalities as per hospital policy.
Attends to In-Patient calls
Will provide training, supervison and support to residents
Attends rounds with Consultants
Coordinate with Nurses, Patient Care Coordinators to ensure Patient Care
Will perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Will attend rounds along with the consultant and assist in patient care.
Attend to the patients in the in-patient areas and reports to the respective consultants.
Ensures that there is a proper handover of patient information to the doctor who takes charge of the patient on completion of duties.
Carries out the instructions of the Senior Colleagues/Consultants pertaining to the patients.
Support for Operation Theatre procedures and pre and post Operative care for surgery speacialities
In co-ordination with the nursing team explains the details of the advise on discharge to the patient as per the summary.
Coordinates with the PCC in the preparation of the discharge summary of the patients and ensures that it is verified and approved by the consultant.
