Job Description
- Arrange and confirm container bookings for export shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to secure space.
- Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.
- Handle Bill of Lading (BL) issuance and telex release.
- Obtain certificates of origin and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Manage DGFT-related work such as BRC, Advance Authorization, and EPCG applications.
- Apply for container stuffing permissions as per regulations.
- Liaise with international customers for order processing and shipping details.
- Follow up for timely payments and resolve any issues.
- Regulatory & Logistics Management
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in import-export operations.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of shipping line coordination, export documentation, and DGFT processes.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with shipping portals, export documentation tools, and MS Office.
