Job Description
- Job Title: Manager - Chemical R&D (Ink Development & Process) Location: Should be flexible for both Guwahati and Nalagarh. Initially in Guwahati. Qualification: MSc / PhD in Organic Chemistry. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of Experience in Industrial Chemistry / ink technology, handled & knowledge of analytical equipment. Worked in reverse engineering project. Key Responsibilities: Different R&D activities, new developments and sample testing. Lab testing, reliability check and ink testing on Printers. Managing R&D Lab stock, identification and monitoring. Field trials and customer feedback on new developments. Ensure all chemical norms being followed in process and on shop floor. Reliability of items being produced daily on production floors. Alternate material (chemical) selection in case of crisis and non-availability. Effective communication with the Chemical Consultant. Calibration of all lab equipment. Different MIS Reports. Handling and preparation of different field related chemical reports & certificates. Training to Operators on chemical handling and critical parameters. Stock count and input-output analysis of R&D Lab items. Proper management of machineries & equipment in R&D Lab. Chemical shelf-life audit in the Plant. Lab arrangement & Five S. Activities related to ISO & other Certifications. Proper resolution of chemical related issues from field and query fulfilments. Subordinate development. Chemical Lab set up in Nalagarh. To maintain the supreme secrecy about the on-going development and present formulations in records. Not to communicate either by email or in person & to avoid telephonic conversation with anyone other than the reporting authority on technical matters In case of any leakage in development information happens, shall immediately inform to reporting authority. Additional Requirements: Strong project management skills. Excellent communication and Technical report preparation abilities. Hands-on experience in handling technical reports and certifications. Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.,
