Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons for students in Grades 6 to 10, following the CBSE curriculum. Teach key aspects of the subject, including grammar, literature, creative writing, comprehension, and communication skills. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools to enhance student understanding and performance. Develop students analytical and critical thinking skills by introducing them to literary texts and creative writing activities. Encourage active participation in classroom discussions, debates, and language-based competitions. Regularly evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and tests. Provide personalized attention to students to address individual learning needs and challenges. Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and incorporate technology into lessons to make them dynamic and impactful. Collaborate with colleagues to organize events such as literary fests, debates, and public speaking competitions. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students progress and areas of improvement. Key Skills Required: Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Deep knowledge of English literature and the CBSE curriculum. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Creativity and enthusiasm to make learning engaging and enjoyable. Ability to motivate students and foster a love for the English language. Familiarity with using technology and multimedia tools for teaching. Qualifications: Masters degree in English, Education, or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary level in a CBSE school. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
