Medical Coding is the process of converting healthcare-related text information into Diagnosis (ICD-10) and Procedure Codes (CPT) using standard coding systems like ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.

This essential process ensures accurate healthcare documentation and billing. As per HIPAA rules, healthcare providers require skilled Medical Coders for efficient operations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Diploma/UG/PG (Life Sciences and Paramedical Fields)

• UG:

  • BDS (Any Specialization)
  • B.Pharma (Pharmacy)
  • B.Sc in Food Technology, Optometry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Chemistry, Zoology

• PG:

  • MS/M.Sc (Science) in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Optometry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Chemistry, Zoology

• Other Fields:
  Clinical Nutrition, Epidemiology, Molecular Virology, Medical Sociology, Anesthesia Technology, Radiology & Imaging Technology, and more specialized B.Sc programs such as Cardiac Technology, Dialysis Technology, and Respiratory Therapy.

• Sound knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Age Limit: Below 29 years

Salary & Benefits:

• Freshers: 13,000 to 18,000 per month
• Experienced: Up to 50,000 per month
• 4,000 fixed hike after six months
