- Job Description The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Illustrator to join a creative and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute your unique artistic vision to a wide range of projects, from website graphics and social media content to print advertisements and brand collateral. Responsibilities Conceptualization & Ideation : Develop original and creative illustration concepts that align with project briefs and brand guidelines. Translate abstract ideas and concepts into compelling visual representations. Brainstorm and present creative solutions to design challenges. Illustration & Design Prepare rough drafts and sketches based on project requirements and client feedback. Create detailed illustrations using a combination of hand-drawn techniques and digital software. Refine illustrations using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate. Explore and experiment with various illustration styles, color palettes, and techniques. Technical Skills Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Procreate. Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography. Ability to work with different file formats and prepare artwork for various platforms (web, print, social media). Collaboration & Communication Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to clients and internal teams. Collaborate with designers, art directors, and other team members to ensure project success. Actively participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Project Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all illustration projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of professional experience as an Illustrator in an agency or in-house design environment. Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of illustration styles and techniques. Excellent drawing and painting skills, both digital and traditional. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Procreate. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality work. Bonus Points Experience with motion graphics and animation. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software. Knowledge of UX/UI design principles. (ref:hirist.tech),
