- Location: Rajkot, Gujarat Industry: Machine Manufacturing Qualification Required: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields Experience Required: 1 to 3 years (Preferred) Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team at our machine manufacturing company in Rajkot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our machinery and equipment at customer sites. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide top-quality technical support to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission machines and equipment at client sites. Conduct machine startup, testing, and training for customers on how to operate the equipment. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently. Ensure machines and equipment are maintained according to manufacturer's guidelines. Technical Support: Provide on-site support to customers by diagnosing machine problems and resolving issues. Offer solutions for machine performance optimization and ensure high uptime. Respond to service requests in a timely manner. Customer Training: Train customers on the proper use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of machines. Provide technical advice to clients and help them understand machine operations better. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. Generate and submit reports on service activities, customer feedback, and machine performance. Spare Parts and Inventory Management: Identify and recommend required spare parts for machine repairs. Assist in inventory management for service parts and ensure timely availability of spares. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, such as production and engineering, for technical support. Communicate with supervisors or senior engineers about any challenges or requirements. Qualifications: Education: ITI (Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic) or Diploma Engineering or related fields. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a service or maintenance role, preferably in the machine manufacturing industry. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with machine tools (CNC, Milling, Turning, etc.) and their operation. Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Software Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for report preparation and record-keeping. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person,
