Job Description
- Replicate the Talend Jobs
- Redesign the data workflows and ETL processes in ODI using Mappings, Packages, and Load Plans.
- Replace Talend-specific connectors with ODI-compatible Knowledge Modules for EBS and other sources.
- Perform Data Transformation
- Implement transformation logic using ODI s ELT capabilities, leveraging Oracle Database features for performance.
- Integrate with EBS and Other Sources
- Configure ODI agents to connect to EBS, databases, and other data sources.
- Use Oracle-specific Knowledge Modules (e.g., Oracle SQL to Oracle SQL) for optimized data movement.
- Test and Validate
- Conduct unit testing for each migrated job to verify accuracy.
- Perform end-to-end testing to validate the data flow from source to target.
- Use parallel runs of Talend and ODI jobs during testing to ensure results match.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering integrations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Knowledge/Experience of ETL tool Talend
- Hands-on experience with ODI architecture, components (Studio, Agent, Repositories), and features.
- Proficiency in designing Mappings, Interfaces, Packages, and Load Plans.
- Strong understanding of ETL Tool Talend and workflows.
- Experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and other source systems.
- Expertise in working with databases like Oracle, or any other data sources in scope.
- Ability to design and optimize mappings for performance and scalability.
- Proficiency in handling large datasets efficiently.
- Knowledge of implementing data cleansing, validation, and transformations using ODI.
- Familiarity with data profiling and metadata management.
