Job Description
- PLC Engineer is responsible for Designing control systems including Hardware & software engineering.
- Generating System architecture drawings as per project requirement
- Panel Engineering including, Marshaling and Power distribution Panels.
- Develop I/O Assignment for control system.
- Preparation of process control application program in various programming language as Ladder-Logic, Functional Block, Structured Text etc.
- Design/ Implementation of graphics/HMI/SCADA from Sketches/Snapshots/P&IDs
- Virtual simulation setup for software testing purpose
- Testing of implemented controls and graphics & troubleshooting while testing
- Site Installation & Commissioning work dependent on customer & project needs.
- Loop checks, functional testing, wiring checks, physical interconnecting, third party communication establishment and troubleshooting, hot cut-over and special wiring and field installations
- Ensured timely completion of work in coordination with other relevant disciplines
- Contributed to development processes via interdepartmental monitoring.
- Attending the on / off -site meeting with Client and customers as per the needs.
- Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe & timely execution of the project
Required Candidate profile
- Strong experience in all areas of PLC Automation project.
- Hands on working knowledge of 2-3 PLC is must. (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Omron, Mitsubishi etc.)
- Excellent ability to review engineering documents and perform risk management accordingly
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills.
