Job Overview We are seeking a Sr Mechanical Designer to join our team at NewAge Fire Protection Industries Pvt. Ltd. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Khopoli, Pune, Mumbai Suburban. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, CAD software, and project management. The role involves working on designing, prototyping, and enhancing fire protection equipment, ensuring top-notch quality and compliance with standards. Qualifications And Skills Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering with a deep understanding of mechanical systems and fire protection equipment. Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent, for efficient and accurate designs. Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize designs for cost-effective and practical manufacturing processes. Competence in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for assessing the functionality and reliability of engineering designs. Strong skills in interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to design requirements. Project management abilities to oversee design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Exceptional problem-solving skills to address and rectify design issues promptly while maintaining design integrity. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and precise information exchange. Roles And Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and systems for fire protection equipment, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly purposes. Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate design feasibility and performance under various conditions. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for production and meet Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Manage design projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with other departments to meet project milestones. Review and interpret engineering specifications, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in all design activities. Identify potential design issues and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and enhance product performance. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.,
