Primary Responsibilities:

DevOps Engineer will focus on designing and developing automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration processes (CI/CD). The successful candidates will have an obsessive focus on automation and building repeatable solutions. They will have worked in Microsoft Azure and AWS environments leveraging services beyond basic IaaS provisioning.

Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms, from planned architectures

Software Configuration Management (SCM) using tools like Ansible, Terraform

Implement monitoring and logging solutions for different cloud technologies or container orchestration platforms

Implement Continuous Delivery solutions and helping customers automate various stages of their deployments and testing processes

Understand containers and how they fit into professional development cycles as build artifacts

Experience in automation of code deployment across multiple cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud and Google Cloud

Required Skills

BS or MS in computer science or equivalent

5+ years of professional experience as an Engineer able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the cloud computing market, enterprise and open source technologies

Experience developing solutions using automation tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git and Artifactory

Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, .NET, Ruby, or Go)

Knowledge of networking and software defined networking in cloud environments

Experience in Azure beyond basic IaaS functionality

Engineering experience in building production infrastructure using code and repeatable designs

Software Configuration Management experience Ansible, Terraform, ARM (Azure)

Cloud Experience Know how to perform cloud operations tasks, such as increasing volume sizes, or upgrading deployments, with little to no down time

Experience with Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as EKS, AKS Kubernetes

Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience evolving to Agile development lifecycles

Have experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline for Big data Spark applications.
