Job Description

Educational Background - Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE / B Tech) from reputed University Experience - 10 to 15 years with at least 5 years experience for Sr. Design Engineer and 5 to 10 years with at least 3 years of working experience for design Engineer in Consultancy / Design Engineering / EPC Organization related to Refinery / Petrochemical Plant. Job Description - Should have experience in Chemical / Process Plant Electrical designing with knowledge of International Standards including preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagrams - complete with protection and metering requirements, Electrical Load summaries & Load Flow studies, Emergency Power System Design, Hazardous Area Classification, Sizing of Power Distribution Equipment - transformers, switch-gear, MCC/PCC, Cable Sizing Calculations and Cable Schedules, Area Lighting Calculations, Lighting layouts, Substation layout - overall cable layout / cable schedule, Grounding Plans and Layouts, Lightning Protection System Design, Cathodic Protection, Purchase Specifications etc. Acquaintance with electrical calculations and system studies using electrical software s such as ETAP and CYME. Familiarity with international codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, BS, NEMA and API.
