POSITION SUMMARY
eClerx is seeking a detail-oriented, compliance focused individual to join our Onshore Global payroll team. The payroll process manager will manage payroll for a APAC/EMEA region and work closely with the HR team to process payroll according to local laws and regulations and company policy. This individual will also work closely with the finance team to ensure our payroll reports is complete and accurate for budgeting and accounting. This individual will be an integral part of the Onshore Payroll team, responsible for ongoing payroll data integrity, payroll data accuracy, payroll reporting and payroll audit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with eClerx Onshore policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations.
- Manage current in-country payroll vendors, ensuring payrolls are accurate, on-time, and in compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Support global payroll processes, such as global inputs preparation and review preliminary payroll calculations from in-country payroll vendors, advising on changes and providing approval for each payroll.
- Support and partner with the Global Payroll team (e.g. taking ownership of less complex US payroll tasks), as well as with internal stakeholders (HR, Internal Systems, Global Mobility, Accounting, Tax, Benefits) across various locations.
- Support payroll operations in new countries as eClerx expands its geographical footprint.
- Support in the implementation of controls and compliance mechanisms to make sure payrolls are compliant with local regulations.
- Coordinate off-cycle payrolls for taxable equity transactions and terminations.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and support building self-service knowledge materials to employees, providing outstanding customer service.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Monitor and track KPIs.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to deliver process improvements and add-value to the Payroll Org.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of proven experience in multi-country payroll administration, and within that, APAC and EMEA is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization.
- Advanced Excel experience working with large data sets.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to handle highly sensitive data.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Passion for providing outstanding employee experience.
- Experience in working with in-country payroll vendors.
- Experienced in working with dynamic and fast-paced company environments and various stakeholders
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic Accounting knowledge - understanding of journal entries, monthly close, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems, ADP, Oracle Fusion, Paylocity
- Experience creating and maintaining internal controls.
- LATAM and US Payroll experience
- Experience supporting a globally mobile workforce
- Experience with data analytics tools.
- In-house payroll experience
WORKING HOURS/REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work a combination of APAC and EMEA time zones.
- This is a remote role in India. In the office presence is not required on a regular basis.

Notice Period required - Immediate to 30 Days
