Job Title: HSE Manager EPC Project
Location: Odisha / West Bengal
Experience: 12-18 Years in Industrial Construction

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance at an EPC project site in the Steel, Power, or Water sector. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all site operations align with national and international HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- HSE Compliance & Implementation: Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and regulations at the EPC project site.
- Risk Assessment & Hazard Control: Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation plans for site activities.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting: Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.
- Safety Training & Awareness: Develop and conduct HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and safety induction sessions for employees and contractors.
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE laws, standards, and EPC project guidelines.
- Emergency Preparedness & Response: Establish and implement emergency response plans, fire safety protocols, and first-aid measures.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and compliance checks to identify and rectify unsafe conditions.
- Contractor & Subcontractor Safety Management: Ensure all contractors follow HSE guidelines, permit-to-work systems, and safety regulations.
- Environmental Management: Oversee waste management, pollution control, and environmental protection initiatives at the site.
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of HSE officers, safety supervisors, and site safety personnel to ensure a strong safety culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Science with a specialization in Health & Safety / Environmental Management.
- Mandatory Certifications: NEBOSH (IGC / Diploma), PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety).
- Experience: 12-18 years of experience in HSE management within EPC projects in the Steel, Power, or Water sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of EPC project execution, construction safety, risk management, and site operations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and other HSE standards.
- Leadership & Communication Skills: Ability to lead a team, enforce HSE policies, and coordinate with stakeholders effectively.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of HSE management systems, incident reporting tools, and MS Office Suite.

- Experience working in large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments and ensure safety compliance in dynamic project settings.
