Job Description
Mortgage Closer
Job Type: Full Time
Job Summary: Responsible for preparing loan closing packages, communicating with all parties involved in the transaction, and ensuring that all paperwork is complete, accurate, and in compliance with legal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and Coordinate loan closings within our retail and wholesale channels.
- Ensure that all terms of the loan and closing conditions are met.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and attorneys.
- Calculate closing costs, settlement costs, and any other fees related to the loan.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
- Prepare and verify closing documents including deeds, insurance, title commitments, and closing instructions.
- Schedule closing with title companies, borrower and third parties. Maintaining accurate closing schedules
- Address inquiries from clients, sellers, and agents in a timely and professional manner.
- Handling wire requests and funding of loans
- Processing wires and funding of loans
- Disburse funds to the appropriate parties post-closing.
- Maintain loan level closing and funding status and reports.
Experience Requirement:
- Graduate in any stream
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in US Mortgage Closing process with overall 4+ years of experience in US Mortgage
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) as external phone communication with Partners, LOs and Title companies is required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills a must
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Hands on experience in Outlook and MS Office Tools
- Motivated team player with a selfless attitude
Working Hours:
- Should be flexible to work in night shift & rotational shifts (as per client requirement)
Work Location:
- Should be flexible to work out of office full time from office
