Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) to ensure compliance with EPC project quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspections, documentation, and updated IS codes, along with expertise in material inspection at vendor locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance & Quality Control: Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for EPC projects in compliance with international and national standards.
• Inspections & Testing: Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and site activities to ensure compliance with approved quality plans and project specifications.
• Vendor Inspections: Perform material inspections at vendor locations, ensuring compliance with required technical specifications and quality standards.
• Documentation & Reports: Maintain and review QA/QC documentation, inspection test plans (ITP), method statements, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and material approval records.
• Compliance with IS Codes & Standards: Ensure adherence to updated Indian Standards (IS), ASTM, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international codes applicable to industrial EPC projects.
• Site & Factory Audits: Conduct internal audits, third-party audits, and surveillance inspections to verify process compliance.
• Material & Equipment Verification: Ensure quality of raw materials, fabricated components, and installation procedures at both vendor and project sites.
• Liaison with Stakeholders: Coordinate with clients, contractors, third-party agencies, and internal teams for quality-related matters.
• Defect & Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformance issues (NCRs) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Training & Awareness: Conduct QA/QC training sessions for project teams, ensuring a culture of quality compliance.
• Final Inspection & Handover: Ensure final quality checks, acceptance criteria verification, and proper documentation for project handover.
• Safety Practices: Experienced in Project Safety Protocols and Standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within EPC projects (Industrial Sector).
• Certifications (Preferred): ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASNT Level II, Welding & NDT certifications.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in QA/QC standards, testing methods, and inspection processes.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with updated IS codes, ASTM, ASME, and other quality standards.
• Communication & Coordination: Strong ability to interact with vendors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
