Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Ab Initio Developers/Architects with 6 to 12 years of experience in Ab Initio and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data warehousing concepts ETL processes and data integration. This role involves designing and implementing data solutions to support business objectives.
Work location: Chennai or Bengaluru only
Work model: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions using Ab Initio technologies
- Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team in using Ab Initio GDE and Conduct>It
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure the efficient scheduling and execution of data workflows using External Scheduler and Scheduling Basics
- Utilize Ab Initio Metadata Hub to manage and govern metadata across the data ecosystem
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts to support data integration and transformation processes
- Implement and maintain Unix Shell Scripting for automation and process improvement
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues to ensure seamless data flow
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to enhance system performance
- Document technical designs processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and integration strategies
Qualifications
- Must have strong experience in Ab Initio Express>It Ab Initio Metadata Hub and Ab Initio Co>Operating System
- Must have proficiency in PL/SQL SQL and Unix Shell Scripting
- Must have solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Nice to have experience with data integration tools and techniques
- Nice to have knowledge of scheduling basics and external schedulers
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must have strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies
- Must have a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
