Job Description

    Role: IT Helpdesk Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Experience: 2 to 4 years Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Night Shift (US Shift) Mode: WFO Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Helpdesk Specialist with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in hardware and software management, ticket resolution, and remote troubleshooting. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver effective technical support. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for both hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation. Handle IT tickets efficiently and remotely resolve issues using mobile and laptop tools. Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues effectively to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for recurring problems. Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting users in person and remotely. Requirements: Experience: 2 to 4 years in IT helpdesk or similar roles. Proficiency in handling hardware (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers) and software troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues independently. Flexibility to work from the Chennai office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of networking basics and IT security protocols. Familiarity with mobile device management and remote support tools. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
