Job Level: Assistant Manager

Purpose of the Job

Located in the store, this role has direct responsibilityfor the successful running of the Airtel store. The person will ensurecompliance with agreed guidelines to deliver a best in class experience & ensure store revenue & cost targets are met.

Key Deliverables

Store Operations & Audit / Compliance:

Adherenceof Store Operations in line with pre-defined SOPs

Ensurethat the look and feel of the store is as per guidelines/standards

Trackefficient Cash handling; prevent shoplifting / ensure safety and security

Visualmerchandising as per plan / guidelines

Inventoryand stock management to prevent stock-outs or excess Inventory

KPIreporting as per guidelines and on-time

Strategic Roll outs:

Accountablefor clearing store for formal launch as per pre-defined procedure acrossdimensions (e.g. manpower/ furniture & fittings/ IT/ device inventory)

Manageclosure of current store during refit & conversion

Toachieve the target on conversion from the walk in customers in terms of Salesfrom new acquisitions & upsell

ManageStore expenses are as per plan

Providesuggestions /feedback to improve store productivity

People Development / Team Management:

To ensuredaily roistering & briefing to outsourced store staff

Ensurethat attrition issues (planned & unplanned) are escalated for timelyresolution

Ensuremotivation & development of outsourced store staff

Customer Experience:

Ensureadherence to CE guidelines

Managestaff allocation based on demand at point in time

Personallystep in to handle demanding customers

Providesuggestions for improvements in CE

EducationalQualifications

Musthave: Post-graduation, MBA or equivalent Business Management Diploma

Work Experience

Musthave: 4-6 years work experience. At least 2 years in a Retail Businessoperations role.
