Job Description
- Job Purpose To prepare CFD Financials/CMIS on monthly basis and ensuring quarterly closing with audit clearance. Ensuring and monitoring Expense against Budget and reporting of variances. Job Context & Major Challenges Major Challenge is to remain highly vigilant with respect to expenses being incurred as any deviation wrt. Budget has to be reported at the earliest. The tight schedule of closing are to be adhered to which requires liasioning and information gathering from departments within CFD and outside. CFD Financials are the trigger point as to where action needs to be taken hence to be prepared with utmost care as it is reviewed by Senior management. CMIS to the Group Corporate Finance (GCF) is an important document which provides the actual results of CFD to the group. Documentation across CFD is under safe custody and being the controllers have to ensure that all documents are in place and secured. Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Financial Statements & MIS Preparation of Financial Statements and MIS Subsidiary Companies, including submission of data/documents to the Auditor. KRA2 Budget/Forecasting Preparation of working/data as required for Annual Budget of Subsidiary Companies. Comparison of Actuals with Budget which also includes variance analysis. KRA3 Investment Accounting Recording of transactions related Investment such Purchase and Sale of Shares, Mutual Fund, Fixed Deposit, Loans & advances and so on including recording and reconciliation of Income generated from the Investment. Raising of Debit and Credit notes on the other units. KRA5 Taxation Preparation of working/data as required for the following (Subsidiary Companies). Income Tax Return Advance Tax Calculation Income Tax Notice GST Audit KRA6 Invoicing To raise Invoices for Rent Income of Subsidiary Companies which also includes checking the relevant agreements, doing regular follow up with the customer for the collection. Additionally, work on automation of system and processes and custodian of all Important Agreements, Share Certificates and other documents,
