Job Description

    Location - NCR/Mumbai/Pune/Bengaluru/Hyderabad The Opportunity Capgemini is seeking a Director Telecom Consulting candidate, primarily to drive strategic growth for its Invent India Telecom Consulting business. This person will enhance and/or build GTM propositions and accelerate top-line growth across all the identified telecom markets and accounts across the globe. The candidate should have a creator and growth mindset; the firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes (bookings, contribution margin, revenue, market recognition). The role demands a high level of autonomy; a strong appetite to drive change and overcome organizational complexity; and a high level of drive to enhance the business from its current strong foundations to the desired levels of strategic growth. Additional Responsibilities include: Building on foundations of the existing telecom consulting offers, strengthening the value proposition and acceleration of the unique business value Enhancing existing GTM assets and enabling build of new assets, as applicable Ensuring sales and delivery readiness; evangelize team account executives on key offers and growth imperatives Partnering with organization Global Telco Account Executives and Capability Leaders to create demand Working as deal coach for the bid teams to secure the win of large and/or strategic deals. Our Ideal Candidate They must have experience and exposure to shaping and growing large-scale customer engagements with global CSPs/NEPs/ Hyperscalers; will have ability to lead conversations with clients CxOs regarding relevant business and technologies and drive business in these accounts. They must have 15-20 years of experience in telecom industry with a strong track record and demonstrated P&L contribution to consulting sales. A Bachelors degree is required; MBA is strongly preferred. This person is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction and will use their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset. Key qualifications include: Experience and good understanding of telecom value chain, markets, key technology as well as business trends, challenges in emerging vis--vis mature markets etc. Strong customer orientation, decision making, problem solving, communication and presentation skills Very good judgement skills and ability to shape compelling solutions and solve unstructured problems with assumptions Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural and multi-functional teams spread across geographies Strong executive presence and entrepreneurial spirit Strong leadership and team building skills with ability to build consensus and achieve goals through collaboration rather than direct line authority,
