Job Description

Role: Junior/Senior Research Fellow - Finite Element Modeling Location: Hyderabad Applications are invited for the position of Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF) to conduct Linear and Non-linear Finite Element Analysis of precast concrete elements at the Smart and Sustainable Materials Lab, Department of Civil Engineering, Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University, Hyderabad. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on advanced structural analysis using software tools like ANSYS and Abaqus, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards. Ph.D. Opportunity: Outstanding candidates may be considered for enrollment in the Ph.D. program at Mahindra University, subject to fulfilling the institute's Ph.D. qualification requirements. Project Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of extension based on performance) Fellowship: 37,000 for JRF and 42,000 for SRF per month, depending on experience. Eligibility Criteria: For B.E./B.Tech. graduates: Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with at least one year of experience in Stress Analysis/Modeling and Simulation. For M.E./M.Tech. graduates: Degree in Structural Engineering/Applied Mechanics or an equivalent field, with hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis tools. Essential Skills: Strong foundation in Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
