Job Description
- Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 6 to 9 years of experience in AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Asset and Wealth Management. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel requirements. The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that drive our companys mission forward. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that enhance our Asset and Wealth Management solutions. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and code reviews. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Implement best practices for software development including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes and testing. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies contributing to sprint planning backlog grooming and retrospectives. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain cutting-edge. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed software ensuring ease of maintenance and knowledge transfer. Optimize application performance identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Ensure security best practices are followed safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes tools and methodologies. Qualifications Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Demonstrate strong proficiency in AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL. Have proven experience in Asset and Wealth Management domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements. Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Show strong communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Display a proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment contributing to team success. Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative team environment. Show a strong understanding of software development best practices including coding standards and version control. Exhibit a keen attention to detail ensuring high-quality deliverables. Have experience with performance optimization and security best practices. Display the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office responsibilities. Show a commitment to the companys mission understanding the impact of their work on society.,
