Job Description

    Purpose of the Role: The incumbent will lead Content & Influencer Marketing for a key segment of the Marico India portfolio, with a strong emphasis on orchestrating digital activation across all touchpoints. This role involves developing and executing a holistic content strategy, managing influencer campaigns, and driving integrated digital initiatives that amplify brand messaging across owned, earned, and paid channels. The candidate will be responsible for brand content planning, creation, partnerships, and multi-channel dissemination, working closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure world-class digital output. Qualification & Experience: Education: o Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline. Experience: o Minimum of 7+ years of experience in content marketing and/ or digital marketing with proven expertise in managing integrated campaigns across digital channels. o Demonstrated success in planning and executing content strategies, influencer marketing initiatives, and digital activation programs. Key Deliverables of the Role CONTENT MARKETING: Strategy & Planning: o Develop and execute a holistic content strategy aligned with overall brand objectives and business goals. o Create an annual content marketing framework, building programs that support both strategic objectives and digital touchpoint activations. o Plan and execute digital activation initiatives across multiple touchpoints. Content Creation & Distribution: o Lead the creation, curation, and execution of diverse content types tailored for various digital platforms. o Build and manage a comprehensive content/editorial calendar that effectively targets and engages qualified audiences across owned media channels. o Develop a robust SEO strategy which drives organic growth. o Oversee the dissemination of content across all digital channels, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging. Digital & SEO Integration: o Collaborate with development and UX teams to optimize website architecture for SEO and ensure a seamless user experience. o Recommend content enhancements and user engagement strategies on owned digital platforms, includ-ing website, social media, email, and mobile channels. o Leverage data analytics to refine content strategies, ensuring optimal performance across digital touch-points. Innovation & Best Practices: o Stay updated on industry trends, digital innovations, and customer challenges to continuously evolve the content calendar. o Champion the use of new content formats and distribution channels to increase reach and engagement. o Drive the business to adopt best practices in content creation through regular testing and iteration of creative formats and messaging. Influencer Strategy & Campaigns: o Develop and execute innovative influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns that drive engagement and amplify brand storytelling. o Identify, engage, and build lasting relationships with prominent influencers, thought leaders, and digital creators relevant to the brand. o Research and monitor emerging trends, competitor activity, and digital behaviours to refine influencer strategies continuously. Innovation & Cross-Channel Coordination: o Brainstorm and pilot new, creative approaches to engage audiences across digital channels, blending influencer content with other digital touchpoints. o Liaise with internal marketing teams to ensure that influencer and digital activation strategies are integrated with overall marketing initiatives. o Monitor digital trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovative cross-channel marketing initiatives. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in developing and managing content calendars, digital campaigns, and cross-channel activa-tion strategies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive data-led decision-making. In-depth knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, and emerging digital technologies. Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple initiatives in a deadline-driven environment. Proven ability to align internal and external stakeholders on strategic content and digital roadmaps.
