Primary Skills Experience in JD Edwards (JDE) CNC Administration: Proficient in managing and maintaining JDE EnterpriseOne CNC environments, including installation, configuration, and administration of servers, clients, and environments. Deployment and Maintenance: Expertise in package builds, deployments, and troubleshooting issues related to JDE applications and tools. Upgrade and Migration: Experience in upgrading JDE EnterpriseOne systems, tools releases, and applying ESUs, ASUs, and Service Packs. Security Management: Knowledge of JDE security concepts, including role-based access control, user profile management, and compliance with audit requirements. Database Management: Proficient in managing databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) used in JDE environments, including performance tuning and optimization. Server Management: Experience in managing WebLogic, WebSphere, or other middleware platforms used for JDE deployment. Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with JDE integration using orchestrations, EDI, and middleware tools. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Skilled in monitoring CNC environments, addressing performance issues, and resolving application or server-level errors. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Experience in implementing backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions for JDE systems. Knowledge of Operating Systems: Expertise in operating systems like Windows Server, Unix, and Linux, relevant to JDE server environments. Secondary Skills Familiarity with cloud environments hosting JDE, such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud. Experience with scripting and automation for system administration tasks. Understanding of JDE customizations and object management (OMW). Knowledge of Agile or DevOps methodologies. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors. Basic understanding of compliance standards like SOX or GDPR. Exposure to tools like JDE OneView, DSI, or BI Publisher for reporting purposes.
