A Manager in the Sourcing and Procurement team within the Global Network (SC&O GN) in Accenture would be a part of globally diverse consulting team entrusted with the task of delivering sourcing and procurement engagements for clients across industries. The Manager is expected to work as part of a global team to support digital transformation engagements related to sustainable value chain in the sourcing & procurement domain. The responsibilities of a manager include but are not limited to the following: Work with clients to help shape their digital sustainability strategy for supply chain / sourcing and procurement functions Lead development of robust solutions in line with the latest trends and innovations in the space of sustainability and responsible value chain Lead a team of analysts and consultants to implement sustainability initiatives for clients in supply chain / sourcing and procurement Integrate wider sustainability principles and frameworks into sourcing & procurement systems, policies, processes, and strategies Understand client objectives and drive multiple initiatives/engagements to address sustainability related business issues and financial goals Translate the business strategy into action plans on key sustainability initiatives, and overseeing their execution Identify and provide guidance to clients on leading sustainable sourcing practices in compliance with the latest global sustainability regulations and standards Define outcomes and formulate recommendations and solutions in line with clients" capabilities and limitations Develop functional capability and knowledge across the practice to ensure a consistent approach to embedding sustainability into supply chain activities Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role: Knowledge of devising, developing, managing, and reporting on strategic sustainable development and direct impact reduction programs at corporate level Experience in S2P processes, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and continuous improvement Functional knowledge of SAP S4/HANA MM, SCM, PM modules is essential Implementation experience in digital transformation projects related to SAP and S4 Functional understanding of supplier and sustainability modules in SAP landscape is preferable Detailed understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with sustainability and improved environmental management across industry sectors is preferable Well versed in end-to-end Strategic sourcing and procurement activities Awareness of internationally recognized sustainability reporting standards and frameworks such as EU-CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), EU-Taxonomy, EUDR (Deforestation Regulation), GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), GHG Protocol, disclosure to CDP etc. will be a plus. Knowledge and experience in ESG/ sustainability tools (like Ecovadis, SEDEX, Rheaply, Greenstone etc.) is a plus Should have good project and people management skills Read more about us.
