Job Description We are the Product Development team within the Oracle Database organization, responsible for building core Process Automation functionality, also known as Database Native Workflow. This technology forms the foundation of the Workflow functionality available in Oracle APEX, the industry-leading low-code development platform trusted by customers worldwide across virtually every industry. Our mission is to empower developers to create impactful applications effortlessly, delivering superior functionality, performance, and user experiences. We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the Database Native Workflow within the Oracle Database. To succeed in this position, you should have a strong understanding of PL/SQL and the Oracle Database ecosystem, along with experience in unit testing and code coverage. Familiarity with Messaging, Scheduling, JSON, MLE (JavaScript), and Property Graph technologies within the Oracle Database will be considered an advantage. Career Level - IC4 Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain new features for Database Native Workflow. Enhance and sustain the quality and performance of the Workflow Engine. Develop comprehensive unit tests to ensure high code coverage for Database Native Workflow features. Build seamless, out-of-the-box integrations with popular third-party cloud services, such as DocuSign, Slack, and Cloud Content Management Systems. Deliver robust, high-quality, and performant Process Automation solutions. Collaborate with internal teams, including APEX, GBUs, Fusion Apps, and others, to drive the adoption of Database Native Workflow. Actively participate in the broader Process Automation and APEX community, contributing to forums, discussions, and knowledge-sharing platforms like Einstein.
