We are looking for innovative software engineers who have the passion and vision to transform the telecommunications industry. The Oracle India IDC team will be working closely with R&D teams across different NA centres, Product management, Professional services, Global customer support, and other Oracle applications groups (e.g. Oracle Fusion Middleware) located in global locations. As a performance engineer, you will review the product performance requirements and determine the performance test scope for a product release, create the performance test data generators and test data, automate the test cases and execute them, troubles shoot the performance bottle necks and provide the feedback to development teams. Should have good understanding of architectural performance bottle necks and should participate in architectural and deployment reviews along with the development team and assist them in coming up with performing architecture and deployment configurations. Create benchmark reports and sizing guide for the products in OSS portfolio. Career Level - IC3 Job Requirements: Ability to fluently communicate with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, stakeholders, peers and developers. Technical Architecture Validations & Optimizations Application Server Troubleshooting including thread locks, memory leaks, GC tuning etc Good Exposure to code/memory profiling tools such as JProbe, JProfiler,Yourkit etc. Experience on performance testing tools (both commercial and open source) like LoadRunner, WebLoad, SilkPerformer and JMeter. Defining Performance test strategies, test plans and execution Automating performance test cases and test data generators Good knowledge of Capacity Planning & Validation Solid RDBMS concepts and Advanced SQL, PL/SQL tuning knowledge. Experience working with complex global organizations Promote state of the art methods, tools and process Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science engineering or equivalent Minimum years of experience: 5-8 years of experience knowledge and understanding of the product development lifecycle ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers good written and oral communication skills good telecom OSS domain and cloud knowledge Manages multiple tasks and priorities. Must have a positive can do attitude. Mentors individuals on their team. Must possess active listening skills Meets all deadline Technical Skills understanding of overall system performance and efficiencies of 3-tier systems, UI Frameworks, including interaction between database, operating systems (UNIX, Linux) and application server Extensive design and programming experience with Java/Python, Javascript, JEE, XML, XSLT, XQuery, Oracle Fusion technology and/or Oracle WebLogic. Solid Oracle database skills including PL/SQL.,
