Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong foundation in Java 11+, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, and SQL/Oracle. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level applications while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 11+ and related technologies. Design, implement, and optimize RESTful microservices with Spring Boot. Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda. Integrate and develop database-driven applications, working with SQL and Oracle databases. Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend developers to deliver high-quality, secure applications. Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Ensure the applications are designed for high performance, scalability, and fault tolerance. Debug and resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure overall system health. Continuously improve processes and methodologies, advocating for the latest industry trends and tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS technologies. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 11 and above). Expertise in developing and maintaining Spring Boot-based applications. Strong experience in building microservices-based architecture and deploying them in cloud environments. Proficiency in AWS, including services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS. Strong experience with SQL and/or Oracle databases, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and web services. Strong knowledge of Lambda architecture and serverless computing principles. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript and frameworks like NestJS (Good to have). Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, etc. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on performance tuning and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, or CloudWatch. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development best practices. Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Good understanding of security principles, including data protection and secure coding practices.,
