Job Description

Job description We are seeking a skilled ODOO POS Developer to design, develop, and implement robust point-of-sale (POS) solutions using ODOO ERP. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ODOO frameworks, customization, and integrations and the ability to enhance POS functionality to meet business requirements. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of the POS system. Key Responsibilities: Development & Customization: Design and develop custom POS modules and functionalities in ODOO. Customize existing POS modules to align with business requirements. Upgrade existing customizations to new versions. Optimize POS workflows for usability and efficiency. Integration & Deployment: Integrate POS systems with other ODOO modules such as Inventory, Sales, Accounting, and CRM. Collaborate with external vendors to integrate third-party hardware/software with the ODOO POS system. Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related technical issues. Provide post-implementation support and system optimization. Collaboration: Work closely with the ERP team to ensure consistent functionality across ODOO modules. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions. Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures. Requirements: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ODOO development (Python, XML, JavaScript). Experience with ODOO POS module customization and development. Proficiency in database management (PostgreSQL). Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery) and API integrations. Knowledge of Linux server environments and deployment processes. Professional Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in ODOO development, with a focus on POS. Prior experience in ERP implementation and customization is preferred. Familiarity with hardware integration (printers, barcode scanners, etc.) is a plus. Job Type: Full-time ,
