Experience Required: 24 years Location: Bangalore Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Java (or any programming language) and SQL expertise, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software testing, automation, and documentation, and will contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. Prior experience in the banking or fraud domain is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality test scripts for automation and validation. Write optimized SQL queries for effective data validation and testing. Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI, and validate messaging queues like MQ and Kafka. Work in Unix-based environments for debugging and executing scripts. Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports to ensure comprehensive coverage. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely software delivery. Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and automation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Java or any programming language with a willingness to work in Java. Strong expertise in SQL for data handling and validation. Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test documentation, and test automation. Hands-on experience working in Unix environments. Preferred Skills: Experience in the banking or fraud domain. Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI, and messaging queues like MQ and Kafka. Familiarity with automation testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and hybrid frameworks.
