Data Modeler Experience : Min 5 yrs Location : Bangalore Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database design, data modeling, and cloud technologies. This role requires hands-on experience with data modeling tools, advanced SQL skills, and familiarity with modern databases and platforms. Key Responsibilities Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and reporting needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and developers to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions. Optimize and maintain existing database systems and data models for performance and efficiency. Utilize data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner or Erwin to create and document data models. Work with cloud technologies, including Snowflake and Microsoft Azure, to support modern data architecture needs. Implement database solutions across platforms like Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop Hive, and Snowflake. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis, transformations, and reporting. Required Skills And Qualifications Proven experience in database design and data modeling. Hands-on experience with data modeling tools like PowerDesigner or Erwin. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Snowflake and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in at least one database technology such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop Hive, or Snowflake. Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance optimization and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques. Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices. Certification in Snowflake or Azure technologies is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech),
