Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Network Architect with 12 years of experience in Bangalore. The Network Architect will be responsible for network administration, architecture, design, security, and engineering tasks. The role allows some flexibility for remote work while being primarily based in Bangalore. Qualifications Network Administration and Network Engineering skills Network Architecture and Network Design expertise Experience in Network Security Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCDP Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field QUALIFICATIONS: (Those required to do this job effectively) B.E/B Tech / Industry CERTIFICATIONS: CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CISSP, CCIE, ITIL V4.0 NO OF YEARS 12 - 15 years TYPE OF WORK: Technical, Architectural Governance AREAS OF WORK: DC & Campus Network, Network Security, MS Telephony, WAN & SD WAN, P2P Connectivity. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: (SKILLS) Large Global/Regional Datacenter Network and Security knowledge Fair understanding on Zero trust Network Solution, deployment knowledge of MS Telephony is desirable. Deep understanding of DC Network Architectures, industry standards, architectural principles In depth knowledge on SD-WAN solution and practical knowledge on large scale roll out. Deep Understanding of Software Defined Networking and its purpose in the private cloud / on-prem hosting Project Management, Vendor Management; Global/Regional Team Relations Mandatory Skillset: Sound understanding of OSI layers with focus on layer-1, layer-2 and layer-3 Should lead the design process, manage existing networks and monitor the traffic. Expertise in planning, designing, maintaining and upgrading large scale network installations. Sound knowledge on DHCP, DNS, IP Address Management Assess network requirements for business and applications. Run network service improvements as part of service quality initiatives Assess accurate monitoring requirements and quality assurance from the location Assess Network level changes and provide approval as needed Risk tracking and mitigation for network risks at MBRDI Technical governance of network projects at MBRDI. Expertise in Routing: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP Excellent understanding of Network Architecture & Operations Experience in assessing Network changes with regards to correctness and completeness Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills for structuring complex network issues Setting up dedicated Labs for RD purpose. Knowledge of managing MS Team Telephony service. Analytical thinking and excellent troubleshooting skills Expertise and experience in managing large-scale, managing multi-vendor, highly available Local Area enterprise Network (LAN) and wireless LAN infrastructures. Expertise in managing Wide Area Network (WAN) and service providers. Expertise in handling In country WAN Expertise in managing DHCP, DNS, AAA, NAC solutions. Expertise in tweaking Quality of Service (QoS) Working knowledge of firewalls. IT Service Management Skills: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management Excellent communication skills: able to communicate effectively with technical and business teams alike. Team player and quick learner. Ability to guide the service providers and internal teams in resolving issues. Ability to identify improvement areas and opportunities in organizations networking infrastructure. Developing technical documentation Working out a data migration plan, if designing a new network to replace an existing one Working with the technical team carrying out the installation Keeping up to date with new hardware and software technology. Capacity management for existing WAN & In Country WAN. Project Management. Relevant HP / Aruba certifications. Proven skillset on QIP, BT Diamond IP Control. Strong understanding of SDN and SD-WAN (Silver Peal). Exposure to ITSM tools. Relevant certifications on firewalls: Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point Experience in making security recommendations. Experience in network performance monitoring. Expertise in network automation. Expertise in designing and managing large scale production network infrastructure.
