Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics Operations Leader The Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the reliability, performance, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This role involves leading a team of specialists, analyzing data to preemptively address potential issues, and implementing strategies to minimize downtime, improve equipment lifespan, and ensure optimal operation of all healthcare and other industrial machinery. Key Responsibilities for team Lead and manage the remote monitoring and diagnostics team to ensure continuous operation and quick response to anomalies. Design and deploy connectivity solutions for remote monitoring and control of industrial machinery. Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, gateways, and IoT devices. Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime for industrial operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate connectivity solutions with existing systems. Develop and implement security protocols to protect network integrity and data privacy. Develop and lead reliability improvement programs to enhance equipment performance and reduce operational disruptions. Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering to optimize machinery operation and reliability. Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to ensure continuous equipment operation. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices for equipment maintenance and reliability. Manage the maintenance budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effective operations. Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and reliability metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Relevant years of experience in network engineering or connectivity solutions for industrial environments or years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques. Experience with IoT platforms and industrial communication standards. Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in using reliability and maintenance management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent Experience with industrial automation systems and SCADA Knowledge of edge computing and cloud connectivity solutions. Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with IoT (Internet of Things) and advanced diagnostic technologies.
