Job Description
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. Responsibilities Manage and direct daily accounting activities; ensuring that proper accounting and recording of company transactions are performed in an accurate and timely manner; and producing financial and other key reports for management. Supervise the activities of all the accounting transaction, to ensure the proper, complete, and accurate record-keeping of accounting company transactions are performed within the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including companys internal corporate governance policies. Oversees month-end closing and year-end closing and coordinates and assigns duties to the accounting staff as needed. Ensure necessary accounting entries are passed during year-end financial closure and review the final Trial Balance. Preparation of monthly MIS financials with detailed analysis on Costs and Revenues. Analyze variances from budgets to actuals and reporting the reasons thereof Responsible for the preparation of the companys financial statements and controllership documents. Prepares and provides financial statements, analysis, and other reports on a scheduled or unprompted basis. Coordinates year-end audit with external auditors, including internal audits, cost audits, SOX or process audits; assist in the preparation of audit schedules, data, and information. Works closely with the accounting staff to coordinate efforts to provide needed information for the auditors. Works on special projects as needed Evaluates departmental performance and adjusts daily operations when needed to ensure the department meets overall goals and objectives. Ensuring that there are no non-compliances Preparation and finalization of annual Budget as per management assumption as well as per standard corporate assumption. Good experience for finalization of Customer/ Vendor Agreement in the interest of company to safeguard future dispute. Required Traits: Job Knowledge/ Decision making/Problem Solving Administration, Teamwork and Leadership Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Good system skills experience in any if the following: Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, Excel Ability to work with scheduled deadlines.
